They know when it is really time to fight or flee and when they can relax. They are always making physical contact with the earth as they move, eat and rest.
Many pets still make very little physical contact with the earth.

Gelukkig wil onze hond graag op de mat slapen. Naar ons idee is ze veel meer ontspannen met als gevolg dat ze ook minder uitvalt naar andere honden buiten. Daarmee wil ik natuurlijk niet zeggen dat uitvallen naar andere honden bij alle honden zo opgelost kan worden. Maar zij had dit blijkbaar nodig. Diepere en betere ontspanning. Tot nu toe zijn wij er blij mee. En hopelijk de hond ook.
Voor mijn honden aardingsmatten gekocht. We hebben in het huis waar we nu wonen erg veel last van elektriciteit vooral snachts. Voor mijzelf heb ik al jaren een aardingslaken en dat bevalt erg goed.tot nu. Dus ik hoopte dat de matten ook hun wek zouden doen voor de honden. Maar ze zijn koud en hard dus daar gaan ze echt niet op liggen!! Dat was balen. Ook niet met een katoenen laken er overheen.
Na enig gepuzzel ligt de mat nu gedeeltelijk onder hun 'bed' zodat hun kop en voorpoten erop liggen, niet altijd natuurlijk en is het een halfslachtige oplossing. Ik had niet zo'n harde en koude mat verwacht, misschien dom en had ik eerst even moeten bellen voor meer info.
De oplossing van nu met de matten helpt maar een beetje.
